The BC Wildfire Service and Williams Lake Fire Department took care of a potential fire concern by doing a burn today. Fall days bring varied weather
Fall weather has arrived. Days are warm and nights decidedly chillier. That means sweaters in the morning and shorts in the afternoons. It’s a great time of year.

The weather this week is beautiful and there’s no shortage of campers. We fill up each night and empty out each day. We took a different path
We walk as much as we can. This morning was glorious so we went for a walk on a slightly different path. There is a closed rodeo event going on this weekend so there are livestock and a few trailers in the infield.
The Mountain Ash are spectacular
The Williams Lake Stampede Campground has a number of Mountain Ash. This year they’ve been spectacular both spring and fall. Raising the flags day
Raising the flags at the campground is one of my favourite days. it signifies the opening of the campground that we’re ready for the season. the Country is opening up a bit after our Covid-19 lockdown of 2 months. that currently we are living in a Country without violent protests.
