The huge poplar guards the entrance. It provides shade for the first few sites and a home to hundreds of birds t certain times in the summer.
The Lombardy is along the back wall of the campground in the tenting area.
On the path to the washhouse is the lime or linden tree. When in bloom they have a sweet aroma.
Soon to be full of red berries.
