I was looking for something to do this Sunday, other than work. I didn’t have to go far. Just across the street from the Williams Lake Stampede Grounds, Chuck’s Automotive was sponsoring a Show & Shine.
I’m generally not a car show fan but a couple of these did bring back some memories. I remember spending time in a friend’s Nova during the mid 70’s. There was also an old truck that made me wonder about life when it was used.
The Spring House 4H club was there with a petting zoo. That also brought back some memories. Club members looked great in their while shirts. Teaching people about agriculture and how animals are treated is so important now. I though Spring House 4H did a great job.
