We had the first sprinkle of snow this morning. While our official close is tomorrow, I put the closed sign up. It’s always a rush to shut down services and close the campground before it freezes. It’s a miserable job to find shut offs and close them off in the snow.

It has been a record year despite no Stampede for the second year in a row. It seemed we were packed from mid-May to mid-September. High School Rodeo was able to hold one closed event.

We said happy trails to a lot of campers that became friends. All year long we felt a strong sense of community despite all the comings and goings.

Still, looking out my window, we’re looking forward to next year
